SALES MANAGER – HOME BUYER SHOW

Join one of Australia's fastest growing and most innovative exhibition companies as a Sales Manager on the Home Buyer Show - one of our consumer exhibitions held annually in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

The position is based in Melbourne and your primary role will be to sell exhibition space and sponsorship to new prospects. Only highly motivated sales professionals with a proven track record in exceeding sales targets will be considered - ideally with a minimum of 5 years sales experience from within the exhibition, advertising or property industries.

You will be a confident and articulate communicator and directly responsible for achieving clearly defined expo space sales and sponsorship targets via face-to-face meetings and phone sales. An understanding of marketing principles and being able to effectively sell the exhibition medium is essential as you will be dealing with senior marketing directors from major companies in the banking, property and investment sectors.

Full administrative support is provided and the role will also include expanding the prospect list, building strong relationships with key decision makers, professional proposal writing, interstate sales trips and working on-site at each event.

WORK EXPERIENCE - EVENTS INDUSTRY

Limited positions are available to support the Event Co-ordinators and Sales Teams on-site at the Home Buyer Show and the Trading & Investing Expo’s in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney this year.

Students from event management based courses looking to gain some valuable, hands-on experience would be ideal candidates.

The role involves a wide range of tasks including co-ordinating front-of house and ticketing areas, working on the information desk, in the organiser’s office and assisting in the efficient delivery of the educational seminars. It also includes working with the exhibitors and sponsors on the expo floor to ensure we deliver exceptional customer service.

The event dates are as follows:

Melbourne: 2-4 October 2009
Sydney: 30 October-1 November 2009
Brisbane: 18-20th June 2010
